Blur Faces in Photos on Your Mac
Toolbox finds the faces in your photos and covers each one with a blur, a pixel mosaic or a black box. Face detection uses Apple's Vision framework on your Mac, so nothing is uploaded. You can drop in a whole batch at once, and photos with no faces are saved unchanged.

How to use Blur Faces
Open Blur Faces and drop your photos onto the window.
Pick a style: Blur, Pixelate or Black Box, and set the strength.
Check the before and after preview for each photo.
Click Blur Faces. The results are saved to a new dated folder in Downloads.
Questions about Blur Faces
How do I blur faces in a photo on Mac without an online tool?
Drop the photo into Blur Faces in Toolbox and click Blur Faces. Faces are found with Apple's on-device Vision framework, and the photo never leaves your Mac.
Can I blur faces in many photos at once?
Yes. Drop as many photos as you like and the same style and strength apply to the whole batch. The status shows how many photos had faces hidden.
Is pixelating a face safer than blurring it?
For the strongest privacy, use Black Box, which replaces the face with solid black. Blur and Pixelate look softer, and a higher strength makes them harder to reverse.
Does it change my original photos?
No. Toolbox writes new copies to a dated folder in Downloads and leaves the originals as they were.
