Who you’re buying from

Toolbox is made by Nikhil Barik. Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which handles payment, invoicing, sales tax and VAT. Dodo Payments’ buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Your licence

A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Toolbox on the number of Macs listed on the pricing page at the time you bought it.
Your licence includes all updates within the major version you bought (for example, every 1.x release).
You may not resell, sublicense or share your licence key, or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Team and volume licences are available on request.

Refunds

If Toolbox isn’t right for you, email nerdynikhil@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunds are issued through Dodo Payments to your original payment method, and the licence key is deactivated. This does not affect any statutory rights you have.

Requirements and third-party software

Toolbox requires macOS 15 Sequoia or later; some features need newer macOS versions or Apple Intelligence, as described on this site. Some video and audio tools use FFmpeg, and Download Video uses yt-dlp. These are separate open-source projects under their own licences and are not sold by us. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to download, convert or edit the content you use with Toolbox.

Warranty and liability

Toolbox never modifies your original files, but you should still keep backups of anything important. The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.
