Eject all external drives at once on your Mac
Unplugging a drive without ejecting it can corrupt files that haven't finished writing. Eject All Disks lists every connected external drive, card and mounted disk image and ejects them all in one click, or one at a time.

How to use Eject All Disks
Open Eject All Disks to see what's connected.
Click Eject All, or eject a single drive from the list.
Wait until each drive disappears from the list.
Unplug your drives.
Questions about Eject All Disks
How do I eject all drives at once on a Mac?
In Finder, select all drives on the desktop and press Command-E. Eject All Disks does the same from one button and includes disk images.
Why does my Mac say a disk can't be ejected because it's in use?
An app still has a file open on the drive. Quit apps that are using files from it, including Spotlight or backups in progress, and try again.
Is it bad to unplug a USB drive without ejecting it?
It can be. macOS may still be writing data, and pulling the drive can leave files incomplete or damage the disk's file system.
