Organize Downloaded Images by Source on Your Mac
When you save an image in Safari, Chrome and most browsers, macOS remembers the address it came from. Organize Downloads in Toolbox reads that address for every image in a folder (Downloads at first) and works out the source: pbs.twimg.com and x.com become X, cdninstagram.com becomes Instagram, i.redd.it becomes Reddit, pinimg.com becomes Pinterest, and other sites use their own domain. You see a preview of each file, its source and where it goes, then move the images into a folder per source or add them to Photos albums named after it.

How to use Organize Downloads
Open Organize Downloads. It lists the images in Downloads, or choose another folder.
Check the preview: each image, the site it came from and where it will go.
Choose Move into folders or Add to Photos albums, and whether images with no source go to “Unknown”.
Click Organize. Edit Source Names lets you change which site counts as which source.
Questions about Organize Downloads
How does Toolbox know where an image was downloaded from?
macOS saves the download address with the file, in a field called “Where from” that Finder shows in Get Info. Toolbox reads it on your Mac. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Can it put images into Photos albums?
Yes. Choose Add to Photos albums. Photos asks for permission the first time, and albums like X or Instagram are created if they don't exist yet. The original files stay where they are.
What happens to images with no source?
By default they stay where they are. Turn on Include images with no source to move them into an “Unknown” folder or album.
Can I change the source names?
Yes. Edit Source Names lists every rule, like pbs.twimg.com → X. Add, change or remove rules, and Toolbox remembers them.
