Use different scroll directions for mouse and trackpad on Mac
macOS uses one scroll direction for both the mouse and the trackpad, so natural scrolling feels wrong on a wheel. Mouse Fixes reverses only the mouse wheel and leaves trackpads and the Magic Mouse alone. It can also speed up the wheel and turn each click into a smooth glide.

How to use Mouse Fixes
Open Mouse Fixes and allow Accessibility access when asked.
Turn on Reverse scroll direction.
Adjust Speed and turn on Smooth scrolling if you like.
Test it in the Try It area with both your mouse and trackpad.
Questions about Mouse Fixes
How do I change mouse scroll direction without changing the trackpad on Mac?
macOS links the two settings. Keep natural scrolling on for the trackpad, then turn on Reverse scroll direction in Mouse Fixes so only the mouse wheel scrolls the classic way.
How do I make my mouse scroll faster on a Mac?
Raise the scrolling speed in System Settings under Mouse, or use the Speed slider in Mouse Fixes, which goes up to 4x.
Why does my mouse wheel scroll feel jumpy on Mac?
Mouse wheels move in fixed steps, while trackpads scroll continuously. Turn on Smooth scrolling to make each step glide.
Does Mouse Fixes work with the Magic Mouse?
No. It changes regular mouse wheels only. The Magic Mouse and trackpads keep the system settings.
