Turn on hidden Mac settings without Terminal
macOS has many settings you can only change with defaults commands in Terminal. Hidden Settings collects a curated set for the Dock, Finder, screenshots, files and TextEdit and lets you flip them with switches. The Dock or Finder restarts when needed so the change takes effect.

How to use Hidden Settings
Open Hidden Settings.
Browse the Dock, Finder, Screenshots, Files and TextEdit groups.
Change a setting. Toolbox restarts the Dock or Finder if needed.
Switch it back the same way to return to the default.
