Show a saved Wi-Fi password on your Mac
If a guest asks for the Wi-Fi password and you can't remember it, your Mac already has it saved. Toolbox shows the password after you approve the standard macOS administrator prompt, and makes a QR code that phones can scan to join without typing.

How to use Wi-Fi Password & QR
Open Wi-Fi Password & QR and click Show Current Network, or pick a saved network.
Approve the macOS administrator prompt to reveal the password.
Copy the password, or let a guest scan the QR code with their phone camera.
Click Save PNG to keep the QR code for printing.
Questions about Wi-Fi Password & QR
How do I see my Wi-Fi password on a Mac?
Saved Wi-Fi passwords are stored in your keychain. You can find them in System Settings or Keychain Access, or open Wi-Fi Password & QR, which reveals the password after a macOS admin prompt.
Why does it ask for my Mac password?
macOS only reveals saved network passwords to an administrator. Toolbox uses the standard system prompt and never sees or stores your Mac password.
Why does Toolbox need Location access to show my current network?
macOS treats the name of the Wi-Fi network you're on as location information, so any app needs Location Services permission to read it.
How do I share Wi-Fi with an Android phone from a Mac?
Show the QR code and have the Android user scan it with the camera or Wi-Fi settings. It works with iPhones too.
